
Mumbai: Noted director Basu Chatterjee's two super hit films 'Shaukeen' (1982) and 'Lakhon Ki Baat' (1984) are all set to join the list of Bollywood remakes.
'Lakhon Ki Baat' featuring Sanjeev Kumar, Farooq Shaikh and Anita Raj in pivotal roles is getting remade by filmmaker Rumi Jaffery, who made films like 'Gali Gali Chor Hai', 'God Tussi Great Ho' among others.
"We have taken the rights of the film. I think it is one of the best films to be remade. The younger generation today is not aware of the classic hit films of those times and remakes are the best way to recreate the magic on screen
again," Jaffery told PTI....
