
Jaipur: In a shocking case of alleged sexual assault and harassment, 10 more differently-abled girls have revealed they were victim to the abuse. Five people were arrested on Saturday for sexually assaulting the orphaned girls at a residential therapy centre in Jaipur.
Earlier, the therapy centre's warden, accountant and his wife, a security guard and an administrator were arrested in connection with the case. The therapy centre Awaaz Foundation was jointly run by an NGO and the Rajasthan state social welfare department. The girls had alleged that they were being sexually assaulted in the centre for the past one year.
Police are also being told that boys could also have been abused in centre. Police are counselling girls and taking their statements.
