New Delhi: Delhi model Jessica Lall's killer Manu Sharma's 5-day parole ends on Friday. The Delhi High Court had granted him the permission to leave jail for five days in order to attend his brother's wedding.
The parole was, however, granted on certain conditions. Sharma was not allowed to visit discotheques or leave the territory of Ambala and Karnal. He was also supposed to pay a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
The police had earlier objected to Sharma's plea, saying his past conduct does not entitle him as he was found indulging in brawl in a discotheque when he was out on parole.
It later gave a nod for his parole release, saying he should give an undertaking that he would not leave Karnal, Ambala and Chandigarh, where key marriage ceremonies are slated. ...
