The Defence Research and Development Organisation is planning to set up a long range missile testing centre at coastal Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh, a top official said in Hyderabad on Saturday. Machilipatnam: Three under-trial prisoners allegedly attempted suicide in the sub-jail in Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh, police said on Friday. According to Machilipatnam Sub-jail Superintendent V Durga Rao the trio - B Ashok Chakravarthy, Sonti Durga Rao and V Sivakumar - tried to end their life on Thursday night by consuming broken pieces of fluorescent bulb in the prison and inflicted injuries on their hands.
