Amritsar: Ashes of Sarabjit Singh, who died after being brutally assaulted in a Pakistani jail, were on Sunday immersed in the Beas river at Goindwal Sahib in the neighbouring Tarn Taran district, as hundreds of people bade adieu to him with tearful eyes.
