Dikshit misleading people on land issue: Vijay Goel New Delhi: Delhi BJP on Friday accused Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit of misleading the rural people on the issue of extension of Lal Dora areas and repealing of Section 81 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act. Congress had in its election manifestos of 2003 and 2008 had made these announcements, but till date nothing has been done, Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel told reporters.

Various quarters have been demanding amendment to the Delhi Land Reforms Act that was implemented in 1954. Section 81 of the Act pertains to land usage. "For last 14 years, the Congress government has been repeating these announcements and this time also the CM plans to do the same. Since the elections are just a few months ahead, she is once again making such misleading announcements. It seems she has become a Chief Minister, who just makes announcements and does nothing for the people," Goel said.
