WB govt denies banning film with 'Park St rape reference'

Kolkata: The Mamata Banerjee government has denied banning the screening of a movie at the state-owned Star Theatre hall in Kolkata and claimed that such reports were untrue. West Bengal Home Secretary Basudeb Banerjee said that the hall is owned by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) and has been leased out to a private company.
