Bangalore: After defying BJP high command's summons, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa is likely to reach Delhi on Monday evening.
Amid indications that he may be asked to step down in the wake of alleged land scams, Yeddyurappa defied party leadership's summons and instead went to Puttaparthi for Sai Baba's birthday celebrations.
Interestingly, he is likely to come to Delhi on Monday evening on the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's plane. The PM too is at Puttaparthi.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Education Minister VS Acharya told CNN-IBN that he will tell the BJP top brass that the party needs Yeddyurappa as their leader in Karnataka....more
