
Islamabad: A judge has stopped Zaka Ashraf from working as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board after his election was challenged in the Islamabad High Court.
Judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui accepted a petition from Ahmad Nadeem Sadal and says the "entire process of the election .... appeared to be motivated and polluted."
The judge also says that if Ashraf was allowed to serve as PCB chairman "as a result of a dubious and non-transparent election, it may complex the situation."
Siddiqui has set a hearing for June 13 and has asked Ashraf to refrain from performing his duties as chairman until then....
