Parliament stalled amidst BJP demand for PM's resignation New Delhi: Proceedings in Parliament were disrupted on Friday with the Lok Sabha adjourning for the day at noon, as members of several parties raised slogans on a variety of demands, including Prime Minister's resignation over alleged scam in coal block allocation.

Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2.30 PM soon after it reassembled at noon after one adjournment following uproar over BJP demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan SIingh.

Earlier when the two Houses met for the day, BJP members stormed the Well, forcing their adjournment till noon as soon as the Question Hour was taken up.

When Lok Sabha reassembled, slogan-shouting BJP members were joined in the Well by those from Akali Dal who sought a Supreme Court-monitored Special Investigation Team probe into the '1984 genocide'....more
