
Dehradun: BJP leader BC Khanduri who skipped the party's national executive in Goa has hailed Narendra Modi's appointment as the party's campaign committee chief even as he said LK Advani's eligibility as a prime ministerial candidate cannot be doubted.
"At a time when UPA has crossed all limits of corruption, BJP has done the right thing by making Modi the campaign panel head as he has never faced charges of corruption and is known for his administrative efficiency," Khanduri told reporters here yesterday.
The party will benefit from this decision in 2014 Lok Sabha polls, he said.
However, he said assigning Modi the responsibility of running the affairs of the party's campaign panel and the importance and stature of Advani in the party are separate issues....
