Dhanush, Samantha win top honours at the Vijay awards New Delhi: Actor Dhanush won the Best Actor award at the 7th Annual Vijay Awards in Chennai recently. The glittering star studded event took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on May 11, 2013.

An elated Dhanush, who won the Best Actor Award for his performance in the film '3' tweeted, "just grabbed my best actor Vijay award I sincerely thank my fans without u guys nothing's possible (sic)". The film also featured Shruti Haasan and was directed by Dhanush's wife, Aishwarya R Dhanush.

The 7th Annual Vijay Awards was hosted by R Madhavan and Gopinath who announced the awards in popular categories.

The young Kolaveri singer, Anirudh Ravichander, who received the award for the Best Find of the year 2012 for the film 'Ethir Neechal' tweeted, "I dedicate this award to my hero Siva Kartikeyan and our whole team of Ethir Neechal, Thanks to all for the mammoth success of Ethir Neechal (sic)."...more
