Mumbai: Actor-filmmaker Prabhudheva, whose action directorials 'Wanted' and 'Rowdy Rathore' turned out to be box office successes, says he was happy when he was offered to helm a love story like 'Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya'.
He has thanked producer Kumar Taurani of Tips Industries Ltd. for offering him a love story at a time when all producers wanted him to make action films.
"Actually thanks to Tips as everybody wanted me to do an action movie, and they gave me the opportunity to make a love story," Prabhudheva said at the film's music launch here Wednesday.
He says 'Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya' is more about "relationships and values"....
