Kolkata: Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians will look to reach their second IPL final when they take the field at Eden Gardens here on Friday night. Rajasthan scraped to a four-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad Wednesday night in the Eliminator thanks to a rearguard action from Australian veteran Brad Hodge who made a 29-ball 54* at No.7 to take the team to the target of 133, while Mumbai were cut down to size by Chennai Super Kings in the first Qualifier losing by 48 runs.
Mumbai boast a stronger squad but are vulnerable to off-days. In their last match against Rajasthan, they were bowled out for just 93 in pursuit of 180. Even against Chennai in the first Qualifier, they looked in control in their chase of 193 until the ninth over when the dangerous Dwayne Smith departed after a 28-ball 68 to trigger a collapse.
