International star Edward Maya performs in Mumbai

Eduard Adrain Ilie, better known as Edward Maya, is a Romanian musician, composer and performer. He performed hits from his latest album 'Desert Rain' and his popular chart 'Stereo Love'.

DJ Tenu Arora performed with Maya at the event.

Maya performed live in concert on February 3, 2013 in Mumbai.

100 Years of Indian Cinema: The greatest romantic couples on celluloid

'You make me wanna be a better man,' Jack Nicholson famously said in the film 'As Good As It Gets'. These hit pairings on celluloid make you want to believe in the heady magic of love. We chronicle some of the greatest romantic couples of Indian cinema in the last 100 years.No love story is complete without the telling of the romance between Waheeda Rehman and Guru Dutt. Rehman considers Dutt her mentor and it was him who introduced her to Hindi cinema. They had memorable films together such as 'Pyaasa', 'Kaagaz Ke Phool', 'Chaudhvin Ka Chand' and 'Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam'. But as Rehman went on to become a star in her own right and Dutt withdrew into a shell, they drifted apart. A heartbroken Dutt is said to have committed suicide in 1964, leaving behind a spectacular body of work.

The great-grandniece of the Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, Devika Rani was one of the pioneering women in cinema. She married Himanshu Rai, the founder of the Bombay Talkies in 1929. Theirs was not a happy marriage. Himanshu paired with Devika in the 1933 film 'Karma' which also documents Hindi cinema's first on screen kiss between the lead pair.

No one knows for sure whether there is any truth behind the rumours of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha's off screen romance, at a time when he was married to his co-star of many films Jaya Bhaduri. They have always maintained an enigmatic silence about their relationship in public. But their sexual chemistry in films such as 'Silsila' have made them one of the greatest romantic couple on celluloid in the history of Indian cinema.

'King of Romance' Shah Rukh Khna returned to the romantic genre after a long time.

In pics: NCR grooves to Edward Maya's music

Performing for the second time in India, Edward set the stage on fire on a windy rainy evening at the finale of Amity University's first Youth Festival in Noida.

With a crowd of almost 25,000, the national capital region did manage to see an international music star's concert finish successfully.

With the first glimpse of Edward on the stage with his band, the crowd gave a loud welcoming roar, which came in well with the star as he waved back.
