Dhoni becomes first captain to complete 2000 IPL runs

MS Dhoni, who guided Chennai Super Kings to a scintillating five-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday, has become the first captain in the IPL history to complete 2000 runs.

Dhoni lies eighth in the overall tally of batsmen who have scored more than 2000 runs in the cash-rich league in the past six seasons. Here are some more statistical highlights from Game 34 between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
