
New Delhi: The country's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Saturday reported 12.45 per cent increase in its total sales at 1,03,200 units in November. The company had sold 91,772 units in November 2011, the company said in a statement.
In November, MSI recorded domestic sales of 90,882 units compared to 82,870 units in the year-ago period, registering a rise of 9.67 per cent, it added. MSI's exports went up by 38.37 per cent to 12,318 units last month from 8,902 units in the year-ago period, it said.
Total passenger car sales in the domestic market rose by 2.35 per cent to 74,793 units from 73,078 units in the same month of 2011. However, sales of the company's mini-segment cars, including M800, A-Star, Alto and WagonR, fell by 5.76 per cent
to 36,679 units during the month from 38,921 units in November last year....
