At IFA 2012, Samsung unveiled a wide range of new products which include the much-awaited Galaxy Note II, the voice-controlled Galaxy Camera, Windows Phone 8 powered handset AVIT S, ATIV Smart PC, ATIV Smart PC Pro and AVIT Tab.The Galaxy Note II features a 5.5-inch (140.9mm) HD Super AMOLED screen with a 16:9 ratio.It is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone will be available in two colours - Marble White and Titanium Gray.

Google, Samsung unveil new Chromebook, Chromebox

Google will try to win more converts to a computer operating system revolving around its popular Chrome Web browser with a new wave of lightweight laptops built by Samsung Electronics.The upgraded laptop, called Series 5 550, is supposed to run two-and-half times faster than the original machines, and boasts higher-definition video. Besides Apple's new iPad, many other gadgets ranging from TVs to projector to desktop PCs, were launched last week by various tech companies including Samsung, Toshiba and LG.Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its new LED monitor series in India. Backed by LED technology, it is claimed to deliver excellent picture quality. They provide a maximum level of dynamic contract ratio of 5,000,000:1, said the company. The new range is available in 18.5-inch, 20-inch, 21.5-inch, 23-inch and 27-inch screen sizes. All the monitors come with a three year on-site warranty.
