Delhi: Pay more to travel as auto, taxi fares hiked by almost 30 pc New Delhi: The Delhi government has decided to hike the auto and taxi fares by almost 30 per cent. The auto fare for the first two kilometres has been hiked from Rs 19 to Rs 25. After that, the fare would be Rs 8 per km, up Rs 1.50 from the current Rs 6.50.

Meanwhile, the taxi fare for the first kilometre has been increased from Rs 20 to 25. The next kilometres in non-AC taxis has been increased from Rs 11 to Rs 14 and in AC taxis, from Rs 13 to Rs 16.

The waiting charge for both is the same - Rs 30.
