Chennai: On Sep 27, 2001, Junior NTR's earliest blockbuster Telugu film 'Student No 1' released and catapulted him to stardom. Now, on the same date this year, he plans to release his upcoming Telugu action-drama 'Ramayya Vasthavayya' hoping for the same result.
"The unit is currently shooting in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The shoot is likely to be completed soon and the makers want to release the film on Sep 27, co-inciding with the release day of 'Student No. 1'," the film's spokesperson told IANS.
'Student No 1' was filmmaker SS Rajamouli's directorial debut, which featured NTR as a college-goer with an unpleasant flashback.
