
New Delhi: A sex racket was busted in Delhi after two Uzbek women who were held hostage for five months in a house and were repeatedly sexually abused by customers, escaped, police on Tuesday said. A woman pimp has been arrested.
The two women from Uzbekistan managed to flee from the clutches of the sex racket on Sunday and reached Safdarjung Hospital, where they sought help of hospital authorities to approach police.
"The victims had come to India on tourist visas. They met a woman pimp, Dilsukh, in Uttar Pradesh's Agra last year. Dilsukh invited them to Delhi and let them stay in her house in south Delhi's Lajpat Nagar," said a police officer.
Dilsukh is also from Uzbekistan. She forced the victims into prostitution, added the officer....
