RECEPTIVE HEARTS: Time to reflect – students at UMASS-Amherst listen to speakers.Several speakers shared their feelings on this ghastardly act. Everyone felt a collective sense of responsibility to do their bit for the nation. Co-founders of Bharat Votes were relentless in their efforts to educate the young Indians about the importance of voting specially at a time when the chosen leaders of Indian democracy have failed to protect their citizens. Their message to all Indian students was to make conscious efforts to convince their family and friends back home to vote in the coming general elections. The message was loud and clear – Voting is not our right it is our duty!!!
