'Himmatwala' new stills: Sonakshi Sinha brings back the disco era

Sonakshi Sinha has donned a new avatar for her item song 'Thank God It's Friday' in Sajid Khan's 'Himmatwala'.
The actress has reprised Parveen Babi's 'Shaan' look in the song.
Clad in a shimmery silver dress and disco lights, Sajid Khan has tried his best to bring back the 80s era.
Apart from Sridevi, Sonakshi has also taken inspiration from Sridevi's 'Chalbaaz' look.
Sonaklshi Sinha, who was last seen in 'Go Go Govinda' song, will yet again be seen in another item song.
Clad in a black-coloured tight pants, a jacket and boots, Sonakshi bears a striking resemblance to Sridevi's 'Chalbaaz' act.
Director Sajid Khan has maintained that Sonakshi Sinha was his first and last choice for the item song.
The retro disco song has bee choreographed by Chinni Prakash.
Sonakshi has said that she won't mind doing more item songs and would love to be called the queen of item songs.
Sonakshi has perfected her dance moves and can be seen grooving to the song on retro beats.
The item song is a take on the disco culture of the 80's. (PTI)
Soankshi has also tried some Michael Jackson moves in the item song.

Sajid Khan's 'Himmatwala' is a remake of 1983 film starring Jeetendra and Sridevi.
'Himmatwala' will see Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah reprise the popular roles in the remake.
Sonakshi Sinha has added her own touch to the new retro song.
