Mira Nair's path breaking film on lives of street children in the big bad city of Mumbai. On completing 25 years, the film was recently re-released at an star studded event in Mumbai.

The film narrated the story of Chaipur who comes to Mumbai in search of a job and how he gets engulfed in the dark underbelly of the society that exists in the city.

25 years after it was released, PVR pictures has re released the film. The film was screened in Mumbai where some of the cast and crew of the film were present along with other celebrities. Seen in the pic, filmmaker-actor Rajat Kapoor.
