New variants added to the Samsung Galaxy S4 family

In less than 3 months after the launch of the Galaxy S4, Samsung introduced a spate of the Galaxy S4 variants including the Galaxy S4 zoom and the Galaxy S4 mini. Here is a list of the different versions of the company's flagship smartphone.
It is the company's flagship smartphone, Galaxy S4, which made its official debut in March.
Samsung, in association with Google, launched the Galaxy S4 Nexus edition - which runs a pure version of Android.
Samsung announced the launch of a compact version of its flagship smartphone. The Galaxy S4 mini has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S4 has a 5-inch display.
Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 Active. It is a waterproof, dust-proof Android smartphone. The fully sealed design keeps dust particles out and protects against water damage for up to 30 minutes of submergence at a depth of one meter.
Samsung introduced yet another Galaxy S4 variant - the Galaxy S4 Zoom - which has a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor with 10x optical zoom. It includes Xenon Flash and a zoom ring.
Samsung plans to sell a variation of its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone that will transmit data at nearly twice the normal speed, the head of its mobile business said. J K Shin, also co-chief executive of the world's biggest technology firm by revenue, said the phone would be sold in South Korea as early as this month.
Besides variants, the Galaxy S4 will soon come in multiple colours. Alongside the launch of the Galaxy NX camera and the Ativ tablets at Samsung Premiere 2013 in London, the South Korean tech giant announced that its flagship smartphone, Galaxy S4, will soon be available in five new colours.
