The City of Joy - Kolkata - is all set to give a fitting send-off to the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar as they host his 199th and penultimate Test match, scheduled to be played against West Indies from November 6.
The Eden Gardens will be wrapped under multi-layered security for the game.
Tendulkar would be presented a one-feet silver banyan tree loaded with 199 golden leaves by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).
Each day of the Test match will witness different forms of celebrations to make the master's 199th Test an affair to remember.
A gold coin, with Tendulkar's image embossed on it, will be used for the toss. Tendulkar, who has already retired from one-day internationals and T20I, will retire from all forms of the game after his 200th Test, to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from Nov 14.
