Samsung's new warriors: Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Gear VR, Gear S

Samsung unveiled a slew of new gadgets on September 3 at its event in Berlin. The devices include the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Gear VR, Gear S.
The Galaxy Note 4 is the successor to the Galaxy Note 3. There is little in the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to excite new users.
Samsung's new Gear S smartwatch decorated by Swarovski. The company announced the release of the Samsung Gear S Strap, the latest addition to its "Swarovski for Samsung" collection.
Simultaneously, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note Edge, which is another new version of its iconic device with a curved screen.
The Edge will be notable in having a side display for quick access to the flashlight, Twitter, news and frequently used apps. While the main screen remains flat, the right edge extends and curves until it reaches the back. Weather and time can be seen from the side when the phone is laid on a table or nightstand.
This is Samsung's new VR virtual reality headset, developed in collaboration with the Californian start-up Oculus Rift. The headset acts as an add-on to the Galaxy Note 4, turning the image on the phone onto the immersive 3-D display and is targeted primarily at the video game market
The new Samsung Gear S comes with 3G connectivity and has a flexible band. The Samsung Gear S features a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display.
The Galaxy Note 4 comes with an electronic pen with which the user can multi-task between different applications and move pictures and deposit them where they want on the screen.
The new Galaxy Note 4 features a crisper, 5.7-inch display in a metal frame, reflecting Samsung's latest design strategy to keep pace with rivals including Apple, which is expected to launch its first large-screen phones next week.
The Samsung Gear S allows consumers to control how they want to connect, switching easily between 3G and Bluetooth connections.
