  • NSG Director General Rajen Medhekar said that ammonium nitrate has been used in the blast. Police cordoned off the area, not far from Parliament and the prime minister's office.
  • UK Bansal, special home ministry secretary, said the blast was caused by a suspected bomb inside a briefcase. Several ambulances took away the injured to a nearby government hospital. Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm to allow Govt to collect information and make statement on bomb blast outside Delhi High Court.

  • Delhi Police on Wednesday released the sketch of suspects in the blast that took place outside the Delhi High Court. One of the suspects is around 26 years of age and 5"9' tall, while the second suspect is believed to be around 50 years.
