Did you notice YouTube's new homepage? YouTube is currently testing a new homepage design and clever observers have noticed it. The new design is being tested right now by Google. Let's see how the new homepage may look and what all it may offer:
Google is testing a new homepage design for YouTube. However, it may or may not become the new YouTube homepage.
The new design is expected to have three panes - left, middle and right. The left pane may include user and channel information, subscription updates may lie in the middle pane, and recommended videos in the right pane.
The inclusion of Google+ is expected as Google is integrating this into all of its services one after the other.
It may also have a Facebook tab to allows users to connect their profiles to YouTube.
It is expected that users will be allowed to connect YouTube to their other favorite services to automatically share their activity and see activity from friends on other sites on YouTube.
The new design may have an Android developers tab. With a single click on the tab, users could view all the videos available on the Android Developer YouTube Channel, which is the home for videos containing demos, tutorials, and anything else related to Android, in the same window(in the middle pane).
It is expected to keep a record of videos you have liked, videos you have watched and the videos you have added to your watch later list.
