TABU: Although Cheeni Kum may have crashed without a whimper on the box office, it boasted of pairing Tabu--one of the most accomplished actresses of the 90s--with Amitabh Bachchan. People who weren't even interested in the storyline flocked to the cinema halls to watch the striking pair. Sadly though, the story's lack of depth could not be made up for by the shine of these two stars.
