Actor Rajinikanth and his family have become a brand in the film industry
Film actor, producer and screenwriter Rajinikanth was born as Shivaji Rao Gaikwad in a Maharashtrian family.
Rajinikanth has been a part of more than 150 films in various languages.
Rajinikanth's last release 'Enthiran' was a blockbuster.
At the age of 31, Rajinikanth got married to Latha Rangachari, who's an Indian philanthropist, film producer and a playback singer as well.
Rajinikanth has won a Filmfare Best Tamil Actor Award and six Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. He also won the Padma Bhushan in the year 2000.
The couple has two daughters, Aishwarya and Soundarya. Aishwarya Rajinikanth is married to Tamil actor Dhanush.
Aishwarya and Dhanush have two sons together, named Yatra and Linga.
Now, Aishwarya Rajinikanth is directing a film titled '3'. The film has her husband Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Aishwarya is also a classical dancer and playback singer.

Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin is a graphic designer, film producer and a director. She will make her directorial debut with 'Kochadaiyaan'. The film will have Rajinikanth in the lead role.
After being together for four years, Soundarya married Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist, on September 3, 2010.
