  • Hewlett-Packard (HP) launched the new HP TouchSmart620 3D Edition PC. It has a 23-inch (58.4 cm) diagonal Full HD display. The PC is said to be ergonomically designed. It reclines up to 60 degrees, thereby enabling users to adjust the display's position for a comfortable experience or reduce glare while viewing 3D content with the Active Shutter 3D Glasses. Other features include integrated stereo speakers coupled with Beats Audio that claim to offer studio-quality sound, Blu-ray and DVD playback software, 23-inch monitor and active 3D glasses, Core i5 2400 processor, 1GB GDDR5 graphics memory and others.

  • Samsung added a new tablet to its tablet portfolio in India - the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, a.k.a. the Tab 620. Measuring 193.65x 122.37 x 9.96mm, the tablet has a 7-inch 1024x600 WSVGA PLS touchscreen, and it weighs 345g. Running Android Honeycomb OS, the tablet has an internal memory of 16GB, which can be expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and has 1GB RAM. It has built-in 4,000mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 offers both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. The tablet sports a 3 megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash that can record 720p HD videos. It has a 2 megapixel front camera.

Engineered with a 250 sheet paper tray, the printer has a printing resolution of 1440x720 dpi (dots per inch). It has a 12000x2400 dpi A4 flatbed scanner.

  • HP introduced a first-of-its-kind WiFi mouse in India. The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse is the first wireless mouse to connect to computer without a USB dongle via a PC's built-in WiFi receiver. The mouse can be operated from up to a distance of 30 feet from the PC. The mouse is compatible with Microsoft's Windows 7 OS.

  • HP has expanded its ultra portable consumer notebook PC portfolio with two new products %u2013 the dm4 and the Mini 210. The HP Pavilion dm4, features the latest Intel Core processors, Beats Audio and a 14-inch diagonal high-definition LED display. The HP Mini 210 has been redesigned and comes with Beats Audio as well. It weighs under 1.4kgs and is touted to deliver up to 9.5 hours of computing power.

    Price:The HP Pavilion dm4 Beats Edition is available at a starting price of around Rs 54,990. The HP Mini 210 is available at a price of around Rs 19,990.

It has a 1.2 GHz processor, 512DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB. The device is said to have a special UI for women. The device is available in four colors- pink, blue, grey and black.

  • Nokia widened its portfolio with the launch of dual-SIM phones Nokia Asha 200 and Asha 300. Nokia 200, is the first QWERTY based dual sim device and comes with a two mega pixel camera. All the phones are equipped with in-built Nokia browser. The Nokia 300 is a music phone, priced at Rs 7,409 comes with a five megapixel camera and also offers connectivity to social networking sites.

    Price: Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia Asha 300 are priced Rs 4,349 and Rs 7,409 respectively.
