Samsung has announced its new smartphone - the Galaxy Ace Duos. Building on the success of the popular Galaxy Ace, the Galaxy Ace Duos features a dual SIM support system.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos has 3GB user memory. It's memory can be expanded up to 32GB through a microSD card. The phone includes 512MB RAM.
The Galaxy Ace Duos builds on the Galaxy Ace's style heritage. The new upgraded Ace Duos has dual SIM slots (GSM and GSM) for cellular connectivity as compared to the GSM plus CDMA combination of the older Ace Duos.
The phone encases a 3.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 320x480 pixels. It runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. The HSDPA 7.2 connectivity is claimed to deliver enhanced browsing performance.
The phone comes engineered with a 832Mhz processor. According to Samsung, its Touchwiz user interface lets users navigate the phone fluidly.
It sports a 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera. Others features iclude single shot, smile shot and panorama shot. It includes a 1,300 mAh battery.
Its connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 (b/g/n), USB 2.0 and Bluetooth technology v 3.0.
The phone will be available from June starting in Russia and gradually rolled out to Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Middle East, Africa, and China. The GSM plus CDMA version of this smartphone is already available in India for 13,900.
