Weekly roundup: New gadgets launched in India last week

Many gadgets ranging from RIM's Rs 1.4 lakh Porsche P'9981 to Motorola's Razr Maxx hit Indian markets last week. Here is a list of products that were launched in India last week.
HTC finally introduced its much-awaited HTC One S in India, which combines a sleek and slim design with a dual-core processor. The phone is priced at Rs 33,590. It features a high-resolution 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 540x960 pixels. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor.
Expanding its projector portfolio, BenQ has introduced two new education projectors - the LX60ST and LW61ST - in India. The BenQ LX60ST and LW61ST are priced at Rs 145,000 and Rs 150,000, respectively.
Porsche Design and Research In Motion launched the elite new Porsche Design P'9981 smartphone from BlackBerry in India. The ultra-premium BlackBerry Porsche P'9981 is priced at Rs 1,39,990.
Motorola Mobility launched the Razr Maxx, the phone with a 3300 mAh battery delivering up to 17.6 hours of talktime, in India at a price of Rs 31,590. Motorola Razr Maxx will be available with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and will soon receive an over-the-air upgrade to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
LG Electronics added two new phones to its Optimus family in India with the launch of the 3D Max and Optimus L7 smartphones. The LG Optimus 3D Max and LG Optimus L7 are priced at Rs 30,500 and Rs 19,900, respectively.
HCL Infosystems launched next-gen devices, which include - the new Beanstalk range of AIO (All in One) PCs and the Smart Series Laptop. With the launch of the HCL Smart Series 1044 Laptop, HCL Infosystems has aimed to offer a laptop at a price point starting from Rs 20,990.
Expanding its Galaxy portfolio, Samsung launched the Galaxy Ace Duos smartphone, which is said to be an enhanced version of the Galaxy Ace. Priced at Rs 15,090, the Galaxy Ace Duos offers GSM dual SIM functionality. The Galaxy Ace Duos runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, and has a 3GB internal memory.
HP announced the new HP Z220 Workstations and HP EliteBook Mobile Workstations, which are said to be packed with reliable and professional-class features. Quad-core configurations of the HP Z220 Workstation start at approximately Rs 56,999 (CMT) and Rs 54,999 (SFF), taxes extra.
Epson launched two new series of projectors - EB-Z8000 series (EB-Z8450WU / Z8455WU / Z8350W / Z8355W / Z8150 / Z8000WU)) and EB-Z10000 series ((EB-Z10000 / Z10005). These projectors feature high brightness of up to 10,000 lumens and and high contrast ratio of 5,000:1. The prices start at Rs 5,67,299.
