India's first 3D tablet: Swipe's 3D Life

California-based Swipe Telecom launched a range of tablets, including the country's "first 3D tablet" in India.

Running Android 4.03 OS, the 3D Life tablet has a 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels.

The 3D tablet is powered by a A13 Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

Priced at Rs 5,999, the 3D Life tablet comes packed with a 3400mAh battery.

The 3D tablet has 512MB DDR RAM. It also has a front camera for video calling.

Besides the 3D Life tablet, the company also launched two other tablets - Float tab and Halo tab, which are priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 8,999, respectively.

The Float tab X78 also runs Android 4.03 OS and has a 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen.

The Float tab has a screen resolution of 800x480 pixels.

Weighing 295g, the Float tab has a 3000 mAh polymer lithium battery.

Powered by a 1.5GHz Boxchip A13 processor, the Float tab has a 512MB DDR3 RAM.

The Swipe Halo tab (X74S) has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen. It has WiFi and SIM card support, and 1GB DDR RAM.

The Halo tab comes engineered with a 3800mAh battery. It has a 1.3 megapixel front camera and a 2 megapixel back camera.

The Halo tab has an Allwinner A10 Cortex A8 clocked at 1.2GHz-1.5GHz,Mali-400 high-end GPU.

Swipe Telecom Founder and Chief executive Shripal Gandhi said the dometic tablet PC market was 0.95 million units or Rs 2,200 crore in value last year, but is expected to touch 2.2 million units this year.
