From sci-fi to choreography, the two Hollywood releases this week are sure-shot adrenaline pumpers! Both the films are set to release this Friday, August 3 2012.
The film 'Step Up Revolution' is an American dance film directed Scott Speer and produced by Jon M Chu.
The film stars actress Kathryn McCormick, who landed this role through her stint in the sixth season of popular American TV talent show 'So You Think You Can Dance'.
Ryan Guzman stars as Sean, playing Kathryn's love interest in the film.
The plot revolves around a rich girl Emily, who moves to Miami to become a professional dancer. Here she falls in love with the leader of a dance crew but the story takes a serious turn when Emily's father comes in the way of the crew winning a championship.
The second Hollywood release is 'Total Recall (2012)' directed by Len Wiseman starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, and Jessica Biel.
This science-action film is based on a short story 'We Can Remember It for You Wholesale' written by Philip K. Dick in 1966.
The original 'Total Recall' was made in 1990 and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.
'Total Recall (2012)' is set in 2084, when the world has been devastated by World War III and the two super-powers who emerge in the aftermath are battling for supremacy.
Although there is no outerspace travel in this version, Wiseman has carried forward a few details (like the three-breasted woman) from the original film.
