Her show emphasised on Indian cocktail and bridal wear. Ornate with appliqué and badla work, sequinned borders and floral motifs, Bhairavi's sarees, lehengas and the unique lehenga-saree were breathtakingly beautiful.

This gorgeous sheer black saree reveals a contrasting light petticoat, accentuating the floral motifs as a result.

Meanwhile, designer Ritika Bharwani showcased her label 'Ritika' at the Talent Box Show. Her collection titled 'Midnight Soiree' was inspired by contemporary architectural styles.

Easy silhouettes of Ritika's collection created impact in bold solid shades and were embellished with sequins, metallic pieces and mother of pearl.

Next, designer Karishma Shahani Khan showcased a new collection titled 'Silk Route' from her label 'Chauraha' using natural fabrics such as khadi, jute, silk and cotton.

This pop fantasy was an abstract fusion of geometric forms in black and white interrupted with vibrant attacks of tangerine, yellow and peacock green.

Edgy and amusing, designer-duo Isha Dangwar and Priyanka Rai drew inspiration from the Myan concept of the world's end for their unusual collection from their label Patola.

Isha and Priyanka used left-over fabric from a textile unit to create their collection, maintaining their eco-friendly status.

Clean-cut silhouettes accentuated the waist area while amplified shoulders made for a fashion-forward statement. We didn't miss the totally-cool-old-school 60's sunglasses!

Fearless Ken Ferns gave the fashionistas at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012, an emblazoned, dramatic and experimental collection inspired by the human psyche, literally!

-
Ken's pieces sported original Rorschach inkblot test‐like patterns that the designer made himself using digital art textures!

Keeping the dark and light side of the mind, Ken designed his three-dimensional pieces in shades of toxic yellow and smoky grey.

Another fascinating detail at Ken Ferns' show was the winged-effect on sleeves, corsets, and hemlines. Add to that wild-life head-gear, black lipstick and blackened eyes, Ken Ferns had his audience awestruck.

Designers Shivan and Narresh created a handsome collection inspired by the legendary stallion Equus. Their 26-piece show personified the graceful agility of a horse.

In muted shades of grey, brown, beige and black, Shivan and Narresh recreated the sheen of a horse's skin with new fabrics cropped into stylish mailots, bikinis, dresses, gowns, sarees, jumpers and the duo's signature 'Kafsuit' (kaftan-saree).

Inspired by Bollywood's horror films of the 50s and 60s, designer Swapnil Shinde brought to stage his collection titled 'Frozen Fragility' at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012.

With creepy music in the background and play of laser lights, Swapnil Shinde's show grabbed everyone's attention right at the start when three models walked the runway wearing gowns in red, black and white with wired wings.
