Earlier, Kashmir used to be a popular destination among filmmakers. However, in past two decades very few Bollywood films have been shot in the valley.

Junglee (1961): Picturesque locations of Kashmir made Shammi Kapoor and Saira Banu's film a treat for the eyes.

Kashmir Ki Kali (1964): From Dal Lake to the snow-capped mountains, the film shows Kashmir at its best. Late actor Shammi Kapoor shot for many films in Kashmir.
