Salman Khan launches 'Bigg Boss' season 6 'Dabangg' style!

Salman had a live macaw with him on stage as he launched the sixth season of Bigg Boss with his signature dance moves.
Actor Salman Khan returns as a host for the sixth season of reality show 'Bigg Boss', that has come to be known for its controversies.
The show will now be aired at family time, the prime time at 9 PM everyday. Until last year, the show used to start at 10:30 PM.
Salman, who is riding high on the success of his fourth consecutive blockbuster 'Ek Tha Tiger', this time wants common man to join him on 'Big Boss'.
People are being asked to send an SMS or log on to the website of the Colors channel, which airs the show. They will have to participate in a contest to appear on 'Bigg Boss 6'.
Salman will be seen sporting a french beard and a new wardrobe on the show and has even shot promos in this look.
Also a parrot and fish will be the new elements in the 'Big Boss' house this time.
The superstar, who had co-hosted the last season with actor friend Sanjay Dutt, will now be hosting the show alone. The show will go on air from October 7 everyday at 9 PM on Colors channel.
Salman Khan will be hosting Color's show 'Bigg Boss' for the third time now and says that he doesn't have any hand in selecting the contestants for the show.
Salman said that as a host of the show, he doesn't like to intervene but could not help it last season due to the circumstances.
Salman also added that even though some of the contestants may try to come into the limelight through controversies, but the winners have always been different.
The show comes with a promise of being more family oriented this season.
Preparations have begun for the new season of 'Bigg Boss' and this year apart from the selected contestants of the channel, there will be one common man on the reality show.
The promos that have aired has anchor Salman Khan asking the general public to send in their applications and one lucky person will be in the house with the celebrity contestants.
Its a great news for all the 'Bigg Boss' fans as they now stand a chance to rub shoulders with some popular people from the showbiz.
