Windows Phone 8 smartphones

Here is a list of Windows Phone 8 smartphones unveiled by tech titans like HTC, Nokia and Samsung. The first Windows Phone 8 phones from Nokia, Samsung and HTC are expected to hit store shelves next month.
It is the world's first smartphone using Microsoft's latest mobile software Windows Phone 8. The Samsung ATIV S has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and HSPA 42 connectivity.
The Samsung ATIV S features a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display. It has an 8 megapixel auto focus rear with LED Flash and a 1.9 megapixel front camera.
Nokia revealed its first smartphones - Lumia 920 and 820 - which run the next version of Windows (Windows Phone 8 OS), a big step for a company that has bet its future on an alliance with Microsoft.
The Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD WXGA (1280x768) IPS LCD, ClearBlack, super sensitive touch display. It comes with Nokia's largest ever 2000mAh battery.
Nokia also unveiled a cheaper, mid-range phone, the Lumia 820. The Lumia 820 has a 4.3-inch ClearBlack OLED WVGA 800x480. It comes with a 1650mAh battery with support for Qi wireless charging.
The company has not yet revealed pricing and availability details of these new phones.
HTC unveiled two smartphones running Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 software - Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8S.
HTC's Windows Phone 8S is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. It has a 4-inch super LCD touchscreen with WVGA resolution
The Windows Phone 8X is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. It features a 4.3-inch super LCD 2 touchscreen with HD 720p resolution.
HTC's Windows Phone 8 devices would be available in November through more than 150 service providers in over 50 countries globally.
