Nissan has launched their people mover in India, the Evalia. Starting at a price of Rs 8.49 lakh, ex-Delhi and available in four trims, the Evalia will compete with the likes of the Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo.
-
-
The Evalia has an 85PS K9K engine with 200Nm of torque being available from 2000rpm.
-
-
A 5-speed manual transmission transfers all the power to the front wheels. Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 19.3kmpl.
-
-
Inside the cabin, the lack of a transmission tunnel intrusion means that the Evalia promises lots of space for passengers.
-
-
Also, the third row occupants have their own aircon vents and controller. There's also quite a bit of luggage space even with the third row up.
-
-
The front end is very funky looking with smart swept back headlamps and bulging wheel arches.
-
-
Standard safety features in the Evalia include ABS and EBD with a reverse camera being offered on the top of the line trim.
-
-
Nissan Evalia prices - Rs 8.49 lakh for XE, Rs 8.92 lakh for XE , Rs 9.49 lakh for XL and Rs 9.99 lakh for XV ex-Delhi.
-
-
The Evalia then offers excellent space coupled with a decent drivetrain and kit levels.
