HTC has unveiled the HTC One X+, a refreshed version of its flasgship HTC One X smartphone. The phone runs the HTC Sense 4+ experience on Android Jelly Bean.
It is armed with a 1.7 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 AP37 processor and 64GB of internal storage.
The HTC One X LTE version is said to be up to 67 per cent faster than the HTC One X LTE.
It has an 8 megapixel f/2.0 camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, and a 1.3 megapixel front camera.
The newly launched Self Portrait mode on the front camera helps users capture high quality photos by intuitively detecting the human face at various angles and applying subtle enhancements to skin and eyes.
According to HTC internal tests, HTC One%u2122 X (non LTE) is up to 27 per cent faster than the HTC One X (non LTE).
The HTC One X also introduces a new Tap and Go function, which allows users to connect the phone and music to Beats speakers when you tap them. To disconnect, it is just another quick tap.
The phone combines the camera capabilities of its predecessor with a series of new features, powered by Sense 4 .
In addition to its increased performance speeds, the HTC One X is packed with a 2100 mAh battery which is claimed to give you up to 50 per cent (6 hours) more talk time.
The HTC One X will be available in Europe and North Asia from October and in South Asia from November 2012.
North America will make a separate announcement regarding availability of the HTC One X .
