Jab Tak Hai Jaan New Stills: Anushka Sharma tries white water rafting in 'Jiya Re'

The new song 'Jiya Re' of Yash Chopra's next directorial venture 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' is out and Anushka Sharma tries her hand in adventure sports with army officer Shah Rukh Khan watching on.
Directed by Yash Chopra, the film stars Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh, who has a reputation in Bollywood for playing intensely romantic roles, said he has not done such a romance for a while now.
The song sweeps the rolling hills of Kashmir and Anushka is in her elements dancing to the lilting tunes of 'Jiye Re', the music of which have been composed by AR Rahman.
Shah Rukh Khan portrays two phases of the life of Major Samar Anand in the film - the one that is carefree and happy with Katrina Kaif, and the one that is more mature and brooding with Anushka.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan will hit the theatres on November 13 this year. Anushka also has 'Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola' lined up with Imran Khan after that.
A white water rafting scene from the song shows Anushka thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Anushka shot to stardom with her 2008 film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' where she played Tani Sahni, a woman who marries a plain man who goes out of his way to win her affection and trust.
Shah Rukh has been a part of many super hit romantic films such as 'Veer Zara', 'Dil Toh Pagal Hai' and 'Mohabbatein' and has said that he feels he can emote romance well.
Her second film Band Baaja Baarat was a hit as well and Anushka Sharma was beginning to give serious competition to Bollywood's A-list heroines.
'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' is said to be Yash Chopra's last directorial effort and the 80-year-old said recently he'd like to hang up his boots after a successful career of some of Hindi cinema's biggest hits.
Anushka is also said to doing Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet' opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
Like all other romantic productions of Shah Rukh Khan, 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' is expected to open big.
