Weekly roundup: New gadgets launched in India last week

Many gadgets including a large-screened TV, gargantuan smartphone and an entry level Window Phone, hit the Indian markets last week. Here is list of new products that hit the Indian shores last week.
Extending its Optimus portfolio, LG launched its 5-inch Optimus Vu smartphone in India at Rs 34,500. The phone runs Android 4.0 operating system, and is armed with a 1.5 GHz quad core processor.
Lg launched the 84-inch Ultra HD 3D TV, which is said to have 4 times higher resolution than Full HD. It is available in the price range of Rs 17,00,000. The new series will hit the Indian market from November 1.
Nokia announced the launch of the Lumia 510 smartphone, which is an entry level Windows phone. The Nokia Lumia 510 has been aggressively priced by Nokia below Rs 11,000. Nokia says it will reveal the exact price a day before it is available in the market. The phone will be available sometime during Diwali.
iBall launched the iBall Slide 3G 7334 dual-SIM tablet PC in India. According to the company, it is the first dual-SIM tablet PC in the country, and also the first in India with built-in FM transmitter. It is priced at Rs 10,999.
Apple launched the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display in India. The new MacBook Pro with a 2.5 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1 GHz, 8GB of memory and 128GB of flash storage starting at Rs 1,14,900, and with 256GB of flash storage starting at Rs 1,34,900.
Samsung announced the launch of its 75ES9000 LED Smart TV in the Indian market. It is priced at Rs 7,50,000.
Priced at Rs 7,899, ZenFocus launched a 7-inch tablet, myZenTAB 708BH. The tablet is aimed towards high end consumers and enterprise customers. It runs Android ICS, and has built in Wi-Fi, and supports a 3G dongle.
Besdies, Apple also launched the new iMac. The 21.5-inch iMac will be available in November through Apple Authorized Resellers. The 27-inch iMac will be available in December through Apple Authorized Resellers.
Sony India announced the launch of its new Xperia smartphone range in India - Xperia miro, Xperia J and Xperia SL, which are priced at Rs Rs 15,249, Rs 18,399 and Rs 32,549, respectively.
Digisol introduced a new wireless micro-broadband router DG-BR1000Nu, which can provide wireless data transmission rate up to 150Mbps. It costs Rs 1,999.
