50 years of 'Shaken, not stirred': What James Bond loves to drink

Bond's 'Shaken, not stirred' phrase brings back the images of Sean Connery standing in a tuxedo asking for his favourite drink - a Martini.
The phrase was mentioned first in 'Dr. No', however, it caught attention when Bond ordered Martini in 'Goldfinger'.
Be it a Vodka Martini or Dry martini or Vesper, Bond mostly kept it to cocktails, until the recent films.
Sean Connery, who played James Bond on screen for almost two decades, popularised the character amongst the fans. He was spotted sipping Red wine in 'Goldfinger'.
Almost all of Bond's popular films have the character drinking his favourite drink.
Roger Moore later took the legacy forward. He further popularised the character on screen.

From Martini to wine to champagne, Bond is always seen with a glass in his hand.
In 'Casino Royale' Bond tells the waiter how to make a Dry Martini. "Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large slice of lemon-peel. Got it?"

Daniel Craig has made the Bond say goodbye to his favourite Martini. In 'Skyfall', Bond will be seen drinking beer.
Bond will be seen reaching for a Heineken in 'Skyfall'. The film is slated to release in India on November 1.
