Kamal Haasan launched the audio of his magnum opus 'Vishwaroopam' in three cities Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai. A grand event was organised in Chennai to celebrate the audio launch.
Directed and produced by Kamal Haasan, 'Vishwaroopam' is a multi-million-rupee budget film.
Many top personalities of Tamil film industry gathered at the audio launch function.
'Vishwaroopam' has entered into controversy because of the Kamal's decision to release the film on DTH platform, a day before its theatrical release.
It stars Kamal Haasan, Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapoor and Andrea Jermiah in pivotal roles.
The songs composed by Shankar-Ehsaan- Loy are being hailed by music lovers.
Kamal Haasan also sang a song from the film along with Shankar Mahadevan at the function.
Fans erupted in joy when Kamal made entry on the stage. He thanked his fans for lending their support to him always.
It is a tri-lingual film, which will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
Actresses Andrea and Pooja Kumar were also present at the event.
The audio album of 'Vishwaroopam' rocked the top charts of iTunes, on the day one of its release.
