Bollywood actress Vidya Balan tied the knot with UTV head Siddharth Roy Kapoor on December 14, 2012 in a ceremony which saw a mix of both Punjabi and Tamil traditions.

While Vidya wore a yellow sari in typical Bengali style with floral ornaments for her mehndi, she had three different saris for the wedding.

She even chose to go simple with her mehdni - rather than the usual full-hand intricate design, Vidya went with round blobs of henna on her palm. Vidya is seen smiling during the wedding ceremony.

The 34-year-old actress underwent three changes in costume during the wedding ceremony, one of them being a mustard saree with a pink blouse, matching the groom's cream kurta and pink turban.

The family had a private dinner earlier this week. A wedding reception will reportedly be held in Chennai on December 15.
