Smart Tango Corner Clean: Samsung's new robotic vacuum cleaner
January 2, 2013, 1:12 pm
Samsung Electronics launched robotic vacuum cleaner "Smart Tango Corner Clean" with upgraded dust removal capability for corners.
Unlike the previous versions of robotic vacuum cleaners with fixed side brushes, Smart Tango Corner Clean is said to have the world's very first "pop out brush" to enhance the efficiency.
The company will supposedly officially unveil it at the CES 2013.
The new cleaner appears to have Samsung's camera-equipped Visionary Mapping System, with a front-mounted lens.
It has a round design which means that the vacuum won't be able to squeeze into corners to suck up dust and dirt, but this new vacuum cleaner is packed with two pop-out arms with spinning brushes that will sweep dust towards the vacuum's opening.
The company has not yet revealed any pricing or availability details yet.
We can expect more information to be released during the CES 2013 which is less than a week away.
According to Engadget, there's also a built-in LCD for programming and error code readouts.
It also has a handful of controls on the top and a standard removable dust bin in the rear.
