HYDERABAD: There is no strong leader like Marri Chenna Reddy for the Congress in Telangana deputy chief minister Damodar Raja Narasimha has said.
He told reporters in the Assembly lobbies on Friday that formation of Telangana state would be possible with national parties not with regional parties.
He said he would campaign for the party in the by-elections in the region and expressed confidence that the Congress would win all six Assembly seats from Telangana.
Corruption in the excise department was nothing new, he remarked.

HYDERABAD: Both the ruling Congress and the opposition Telugu Desam members had some advice from a young legislator as to how they should behave in the Assembly.
With tempers running high and pandemonium prevailing as the debate on the politicoliquor syndicate nexus, MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi wanted to know what respect the members had for their leaders.
“Don’t you have respect for your own leaders. When the chief minister is speaking, can’t you go back to your seats and sit down?” he asked.
