New Delhi: Akshay Kumar's cop romp com Rowdy Rathore has entered the elite Rs 100 crore club, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said. Adarsh tweeted the box office collection figures of the film at the end of the second weekend.

'Rowdy Rathore' got an amazing opening. The film earned Rs 15.10 crore on the first day itself. Directed by Prabhu Deva, Sonakshi Sinha plays the lead role in the film.
Adarsh had earlier said "Rowdy Rathore collects Rs 79.52 cr nett in 1st Week, Outstanding. Rowdy Rathore smashed previous records in many circuits. 'Rowdy Rathore' is a remake of Telugu film 'Vikramarkudu'. With south remakes making good money at the box office, no wonder almost all the actors are following the trend. 'Rowdy Rathore' looks very similar to Salman Khan's superhit film 'Dabangg'. Sonakshi Sinha is also the common factor between both the films. Lucky Sonkashi who didn’t have much to do in both the films, has all the reasons to celebrate.
Now, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha will be seen together in Shirish Kunder's 'Joker'. So far, this year has been good for Akshay as both his films 'Housefull 2' and 'Rowdy Rathore' turned out to be commercially successful.
